The art of the photocopier
25 Jul 2014
The Straits Times – Life!, 25 July 2014 - Risograph printing is fast gaining the favour of artists and designers here with two risograph presses setting up shop recently. Risograph is not a new technology and is a cheaper form of photocopying. Risograph prints are much cheaper due to a cheaper emulsion ink being used and also because heat is not used as part of the printing process. The end result is a print with more vibrant and tactile colours. One of the two risograph presses, Knuckles and Notch will be conducting workshops at the new SP Design School next month.
