School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering - Talent Development Programme (EEE - TDP) grooms selected EEE students from DASE, DCPE, DEB, and DEEE courses.
EEE-TDP students are part of EEE Ambassadors and Engineering Academy.
EEE student ambassadors are the face of EEE in events such as Freshmen Orientation Programme, Annual Awards ceremony and Open House. EEE ambassadors take on leadership roles and lead their peers during the planning of various school events. EEE student ambassadors also provide peer tutoring service to students who need extra help with the course work.
The Engineering Academy offers complimentary training programmes to equip EEE students for various academic and professional pursuits. These include preparing students for scholarship applications, competitions, University (NUS, SUTD) Accelerated Pathway Programmes, and the GovTech-Polytechnic Technology Programme.
Students are trained in both technical and soft skills. The technical training programmes are designed to augment students' engineering expertise, preparing them for competitions like “World Skills Competition”, “Robocup”, and hackathons. The soft skills trainings are geared towards refining students' capabilities in effective self-presentation. Through these programmes, students acquire the essential skills to excel in presentations and interviews, positioning themselves adeptly in professional settings.
Through the EEE-TDP, EEE students are better prepared for the following:
1. Scholarship applications
2. Competitions
3. EEE’s ACE Programme applications
