I had a genuine interest in art at a young age. At the end of sec 3, I naturally choose art as one of my “O” levels subjects. This passion continued to influence my decision when making my choice in pursuing a polytechnic course.

Diploma in Landscape Architecture has been a great platform for me to express my creativity in relation to the environment and landscape spaces. During the course of 3 years, DLA has offered me more than what I expected, ranging from site visits to local completed landscape projects, workshops and seminars. As a project-based diploma, we were given actual local sites to propose our ideas and express our design intent as part as our project. This diploma has not only instilled me the relevant skills and knowledge in landscape architecture, it has definitely further developed me as a person. Both the internship and course projects taught me the importance of time management, resilience and open mindedness.

Overall my life in SP has been a fulfilling one with great tutors, friends and learning environment.
