Singapore Polytechnic fuels an ecosystem for creatives through microstudy, partnerships with industry powerhouses and cutting-edge technology

SINGAPORE, 12 March 2025 – There are currently more than 150,000 professionals in the creative industry, with a growing number of freelancers1. To support the upskilling of these creatives in an ever-changing industry, Singapore Polytechnic (SP) signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with prominent players in Singapore's burgeoning creative space. This significant development is part of its Media, Arts & Design (MAD) School’s graduation showcase, MAD Grad Experience 2025. These MOUs will set up close partnerships with SPH Media and NTUC-affiliated association, Visual, Audio, Creative Content Professionals Association (Singapore) [VICPA], among others.

Polytechnic Graduates Command Higher Salary Amidst Evolving Job Landscape

Singapore, 13 January 2025 – The 2024 Polytechnic Graduate Employment Survey (GES) found that the median gross monthly salary among graduates in full-time permanent employment increased from $2,800 in 2023 to $2,900 in 2024. It also found that 87.5% of polytechnic graduates in the labour force were employed within six months of graduation or after completing full-time National Service, against the backdrop of slower employment growth in 2024 as compared to 2023.
