I joined the Diploma in Landscape Architecture (DLA) with keen eyes and a passion for design. My experience in the DLA course was modest and humbling. Our lecturers exposed us to the world of landscape design and the architectural systems that play a part in our everyday lives. As our knowledge about the subject grew, we began to realise the role, the responsibility and the changes we as future landscape architects could contribute to the world. My experience in DLA also involved in workshop and competition participation, as well as internship, which thought me a world of things about the working industry. What made me feel proud about graduating from SP was also the friendship I made during my course of stay in DLA. Studying in SP had given me the opportunity to aim higher and taught me the responsibility of doing what I loved most, design in landscape architecture.
