Sustainability and Advanced Manufacturing Learning Journey

Synopsis

The Advanced Manufacturing Learning Journey (AMLJ) is designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing industry embrace Industry 4.0 technologies.

Co-developed with TÜV SÜD, this program is divided into three distinct zones - Digitalisation, Integrated, and Smart - each representing a different stage of i4.0 transformation. By participating in the AMLJ, SMEs gain valuable insights into how they can digitalize their manual processes, connect machines and equipment to extract valuable information, and integrate these systems across the value chain.

The AMLJ also highlights the importance of using Singapore Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) as a transformation tool to prepare enterprises for emerging technologies.

To date, over 450 manufacturing enterprises have experienced the SP-AMLJ and have been inspired to embark on their own transformation journeys while upskilling their workforce along the way.
