Agile Manufacturing in Automation Processes with Additive Manufacturing
Agile manufacturing is an emerging strategic approach that emphasizes flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to quickly adapt to changes in customer demand, product design, or production requirements.
Automation in manufacturing involves the use of control systems, robotics, and information technologies to handle tasks with minimal human intervention.
Explore how additive manufacturing (AM) enables seamless integration between agile manufacturing and the implementation of automated processes in manufacturing. Agile manufacturing principles can be amplified with AM, as 3D printing allows
for rapid changes in product design and customization without major retooling.
