Co-locate within School of Chemical & Life Sciences (CLS)
We would like to cordially invite industry partners like your company to co-locate in our campus to augment real world learning for our learners in next generation sequencing (NGS). As one of our Collective Aspiration to advance the human potential, we strive for closer and strategic collaboration between academia and industry in curriculum design, delivery, teaching, learning, training, research and in other areas as well. We believe the value exchange through such partnerships will be mutually beneficial to both SP and the industry.

The School of Chemical & Life Sciences (CLS) at Singapore Polytechnic has been training technologists, assistant engineers and optometrists for more than half a century. With a team of over 150 qualified and experienced academic and technical
support staff, CLS offers 6 full-time diplomas, 3 advanced diplomas, 4 specialist diplomas and 2 part-time diplomas to a student intake of about 650 new students per year.
Additionally, CLS has excellent academic & industry links both locally and regionally. Course curricula are always kept up-to-date based on feedback from the industries, universities and past graduates. Many of our staff also serve in
external professional committees and their technical expertise is typically deployed in consultancy or applied R&D work. We are also appointed by the Ministry of Education to be the sector coordinator for Food Manufacturing and Energy
& Chemicals industries in Singapore. Last but not least, we are supported by 3 technology centres to keep our staff/students abreast with technological advancements at the Food Innovation Resource Centre (FIRC), Advanced Materials
Technology Centre (AMTC) and Consumer Care Technology Centre (CCTC).
To create a vibrant and relevant learning environment for our students, we constantly engage industry partners closely in collaborative projects and invite industry partners to co-locate in our campus to augment real world learning for our
