CE/MPA Visit To CEMS On 30 September 2022

CEMS is honoured to co-host a visit with Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) for the new CE/MPA. Together with 3 other Centre of Excellence (CoE), MESD, CEAOPS and C4NGP, we had a fruitful exchange on all the capabilities that all CoEs developed for the betterment of operations and safety for maritime industry.

CEMS showcased the ability to infuse Artificial Intelligence (AI) to our Advanced Navigation Research Simulator (ANRS) platform where the team leverage on data captured by sensors for further analysis. AI algorithm and Machine Learning (ML) are deployed to monitor the seafarers performance, both in technical and soft skill (situational awareness and communication), with the aim to improve their performance.
