Celebrating a Successful Healthy Aging Showcase!

The Food for Healthy Aging Innovation Acceleration Program, a collaborative effort between Singapore Food Manufacturing Association (SFMA) and Enterprise Singapore, alongside our esteemed supporting partners at Health Promotion Board (HPB), has been an incredible journey, supporting local food enterprises in reformulating existing products and crafting senior-friendly options for our aging population in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Our initiative aimed to support local food enterprises by reformulating existing and/or tradition products and creating senior-friendly or healthy-aging food options. This addresses the pressing need for diverse and nutritious choices tailored to the aging population in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Seven aspiring companies participated in the initiative, each committed to a transformative journey aimed at creating commercially viable, health-conscious, and irresistibly delicious offerings. These innovations seamlessly align with the Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS) Nutrition Guidelines outlined by the esteemed Health Promotion Board (HPB). The companies involved are:

The product showcasing and pitching event, which took place on December 5th at FIRC, achieved remarkable success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of aspiring companies. The presence of distinguished guests, including representatives from Enterprise Singapore, SFMA, and key industry figures, added a significant layer of prestige and expertise to the occasion. The event not only provided a platform for aspiring companies to present their innovative offerings but also fostered meaningful connections and collaborations within the industry. The positive response and engagement from all stakeholders underscored the event's effectiveness in promoting networking, innovation, and the growth of the participating companies.
