December 08, 2022

CELLMEAT Corp. (CEO: Giljun, Park), a company that specializes in the development of cell-based cultivated meat, has held a ‘tasting event’ in Singapore in October. CellMEAT is the first Korean cultivated meat company to hold a tasting session for their products. Also participating in the recent AFTEA (Agri-Food Tech Expo Asia) that was held in Singapore, CELLMEAT opened their own exhibition booth to promote their vision and advanced technology to industry insiders and those who are interested in the cultivated meat industry.

The tasting event was held at Food Innovation & Resource Centre (FIRC) thanks to the help of Singapore Food Agency (SFA) after a long preparation period to meet Singapore’s guidelines related to cultivated food and tasting sessions.

During the past years, CellMEAT has garnered a lot of attention from the industry after successfully developing a new technology that can 100% replace the existing Fetal Bovine Serum, which is considered a key factor in the production of cultivated meat, also causing a huge sensation around the world with their innovative Dokdo Shrimp products using edible supports.
