Cultivated Meat: From Singapore To Sharm El-Sheikh (Egypt)

Here at Food Innovation Resource Centre (FIRC), we’re dedicated to lend our arm to aid Alternative Proteins companies in their quest to tackle global sustainability issues and do our part in alleviating climate change.
In the recent COP27 event, we’re equally elated to learn that the cultivated chicken produced in FIRC’s pilot plant were plated in a special dinner hosted by Ms. Grace Fu, our Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, jointly organised by the team from Good Meat, GFI APAC and COP27 SG Pavilion.
With FDA’s interim regulatory nod on cultivated meat safe for humans, we anticipate this form of consumption to be a gradual reality in the days to come!
