[CLOSED]: Food for Healthy Aging Innovation Acceleration Program 2023

We are excited to announce the successful kick-off of the Healthy Aging Acceleration Program, a collaborative effort between Singapore Food Manufacturing Association and Enterprise Singapore, alongside our esteemed supporting partners at Health Promotion Board!

For the networking and training session, we had the privilege of hosting Ageing Asia (Janice Chia), who shared invaluable global market trends that are shaping the trajectory of aging. Adding further depth to the session was the presentation by the Think USA Dairy (USDEC), delving into their ingredient knowledge and how dairy proteins can be integrated into Asian-focused foods. Wrapping up the knowledge-sharing, NTUC FairPrice has provided valuable insights on category and customer trends that has guided participants towards key areas primed for new product development.

This kick-off marks the beginning of a journey as we collectively strive for healthier aging solutions.

Brief Introduction

The Food For Healthy Aging Innovation Acceleration Program is designed to provide support to traditional local food enterprises in reformulating existing products and develop more senior-friendly food options to cater to the aging population and address the needs on the limited choices in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The program also seeks to ensure that the products created are commercially viable, healthy, nutritious and delicious, in line with the Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS) Nutrition Guidelines by the Health Promotion Board (HPB).

 

Program Information

Organisers:
- Singapore Food Manufacturers’ Association (SFMA)
- Enterprise Singapore
- Food Innovation Resource Centre (FIRC)

Duration: June – November 2023 (5 months)

Participation Fee: S$3,500 for SFMA members / S$3,700 for non-members
