“The Business Needs Analysis (BNA) course under the CWT programme creates a platform for Senior Managers to take a step back from operational demands to do a diagnostic review of the current state of affairs in the Company. It also creates the opportunity for the managers to share and articulate their visions for the Company in
a structured way.

The Trainers led us step- by- step through the learning, understanding and applications of the various analysis models e.g. SWOT and STEEPLE. The end result is a fully vested analysis developed by us (the learners). The exercises also give us (the learners) a greater confidence to choose and apply the relevant models to do our analysis on our own in the future.

Our Trainers, Mr Ho Chii Wen and Mr Colin Soh were very engaging. They presented the concepts into easily digestible nuggets of information/knowledge that everyone understood. Moreover, they shared freely of their relevant experiences and facilitated our group to see and evaluate issues from a different perspective. I benefited greatly from their sharing, authentic feedback and review.

The Digital Transformation (DT) course is very useful for learners who wish to embark on any change management projects involving the introduction of technology into the processes.

Before starting the course, I thought it will just extol the virtues of new emerging technologies. To my surprise, the course actually focuses more on identifying the root problems in current processes and how we can then tap on available technologies to resolve or improve the efficiencies. It definitely does not prescribe the adoption of technologies for the sake of doing so.

Through the course, I am also more confident in my knowledge of current (emerging) technologies and their applications. It opened my eyes on how much we have been using these technologies in our daily lives (and work) without realising it!

It is my hope that after completing the course, my team and I would be able to identify and evaluate digital solutions that will suit our current and future needs. The skills we picked up during the course would be handy for other situations in the future.”
