Successful Commercialisation: Grand Debut Of EPL’s Plant Based Products

Joy, happiness and health comes from a serving of delicious, healthy and hearty food made from meat-free ingredients in balanced combinations.” That’s the firm belief at Eat Plant Love (EPL), a new branding by BoBo Fish Ball. And EPL has made its grand debut at Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) 2022 with a range of tasty and delicious plant-based offerings such as mushroom ball, vegetable roll and calamari which the company will be launching into the market very soon!

Whether it is on the backdrop of food sustainability and/or with the increase in consumer awareness on health and wellness, plant-based foods are a rapidly growing segment of the food industry, and this trend will continue to grow. Food enterprises should be encouraged to embrace this up and coming trend and seize the opportunity to make foray into new markets and widen their products and services with innovative offerings! And BoBo Fish Ball is definitely one such forward looking company that believes the new alternative protein business undertaking will complement its existing business model, with the inauguration of EPL.
Food Innovation & Resource Centre (FIRC) @ Singapore Polytechnic has a great sense of accomplishment to have worked with BoBo Fish Ball on the plant-based product innovation initiative which was to develop a meatless-meat product that doesn’t compromise on quality, i.e. taste, texture and aesthetic. By adopting the plant-based formulation that was developed by FIRC as a base, the company continued its innovation development journey to come out with a range of new, healthy and sustainable menu that were showcased in FHA. We would expect more and better product innovations launches from EPL soon!
