New face takes over Bedok Reservoir Branch Vice Chairman, PAP’s Aljunied lineup could change

After the People's Action Party (PAP) team for Sengkang GRC underwent changes on 23 January, the PAP team for another opposition-held GRC, Aljunied, might also see adjustments. Dr Adrian Ang Zi Yang, a cleaning company executive who was previously seen participating in grassroots activities in Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, recently appeared wearing the Aljunied GRC grassroots team’s attire while engaging with residents. He has also been appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Bedok Reservoir-Punggol Branch. According to available information, Dr Ang holds a PhD in Energy Management and Systems Technology from Newcastle University in the UK. His academic journey includes studying at Pei Chun Public School, Singapore Polytechnic, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia, and Nanyang Technological University.
