190 ASEAN students discuss environmental sustainability

A total of 190 students from six ASEAN countries gathered at the Youth Model ASEAN Conference (YMAC) held at SP yesterday to discuss various environmental sustainability issues. The conference was jointly organised by all five polytechnics. SP Diploma in Business Administration student Jamie Yau, who is the secretary general of the YMAC organising committee, said that recent natural disasters caused by extreme weather made her realise the importance of sustainability. She also encouraged more youth to do their part for the environment.
