Breathing life into Xinyao with songwriting contest

The Straits Times, - Life!, 7 Apr 2016 - Chinese-language daily Lianhe Zaobao will be organizing The National Schools Xinyao Singing and Song Writing Competition 2016 in collaboration with TCR Music Station, Jurong Junior College, SP and NP. The event aims to breathe new life into the Xinyao genre and there is a new songwriting category in this year’s edition. The preliminaries, semi-finals and finals of the competition will be held at SP Convention Centre and will be aired on E City (StarHub TV Channel 111/825).
