DEB Alumnus, Alvin Wong, who graduated in 2013, received the National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS) offered by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) to read the degree in Information Engineering & Media with Business Minor at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). William Tan Jing Yuan, a DEEE alumnus and the DEEE silver medallist in 2016, was awarded the prestigious Public Service Commission scholarship in May 2016 for further study in Engineering & Business Management (double degree) at SUTD/SMU. 3 DEEE alumni, Eddie Bin Jamil, Clovis Lim Jing Jie and Lim Tian Fu, were awarded the Singapore Power Sponsorships (SP SunSPEC Polytechnic Sponsorship) 2016, for their contributions in the solar car project.
