Throughout my three years at DFM, I have enthusiastically taken and valued every opportunity to learn. I experienced a holistic education consisting of business, facilities management, and SMART technologies. Besides gaining that professional knowledge, I mastered time management and problem-solving skills during the times when I had to juggle my projects and exams simultaneously.

The education I experienced in DFM helped me to adapt to the working world as an intern easily. I was assigned to the technical service department of a company and this allowed me to see the theoretical knowledge I gained through class applied in systems like BMS, chillers and firefighting equipment. I also got to participate in the pre-inspection for unit take over and handover from the operation department which broadens my exposure to the soft services as well. It was a comprehensive learning experience. Not only did I understand more about this industry, but I also get to work with different stakeholders which in turn improved my interpersonal skills.

I would like to show my deep appreciation to the people who have forged countless joyful and meaningful memories with me in these three years. I’m sincerely grateful for the support and care I received from all my teachers, both academically and emotionally. Most importantly, I met a group of harmonious and lovely classmates who brought joy to my school life. Going to school was never been boring and I often missed studying in school during the covid home-based learning (HBL) period. The sight of seeing us being able to study together after 6 months of HBL, was the most heartwarming thing in my memory.

Overall, life at ABE was fulfilling and wonderful and I will cherish my memories here forever.
