EEE alumni appointed Managing Director, SMRT Thomson East-Coast Line

Shahrin Abdol Salam, a EEE alumnus, has been appointed the Managing Director of SMRT, Thomson-East Coast Line. In 1998, Mr Shahrin joined SMRT as a maintenance engineer and was given the opportunity to move up the ladder at the company.
He embodies one key spirit of EEE that is never to stop learning, and to persevere in the face of challenges. Mr Shahrin credited EEE for having imbibed the right values in him that enabled him to be where he is today.
