Finding her right path to success- Lim Xin Yi

Lim Xin Yi, graduate from the Diploma in Aerospace Electronics (DASE).

“Listen to your heart and choose the path for yourself” is the advice from Lim Xin Yi, a graduate from the Diploma in Aerospace Electronics (DASE).

The Crescent Girls alumna recalled how she gave in to her friends and cousin’s advice to choose a JC after receiving her O level results of 7 points. After a year in JC, Xin Yi was certain it was not the right path for her. Following her passion for aviation, she decided to switch to SP.

“My decision to leave JC for SP was a great one. I could learn so much more in SP and be more prepared for my dream career in the aviation industry,” she shares. 
In SP, Xin Yi has scored many accomplishments including the SP Model Student Award! The once shy girl has also learnt to step out of her comfort zone and take up an elective in Theatre Performance and Production where she was the lead actress for a play!

Xin Yi is a SUTD-SMU Dual Degree Scholar, where she is currently studying both technology and business management!
