3D Modelling for Facilities Management

This project aims to assist facilities managers in managing the maintenance work more efficiently using a 3D model. A 3D model of the college building was created using a 3D mapping camera and software.

A mobile app was proposed to engage the building users in reporting the defects and tagging them to the 3D model, showing the precise locations of the defects, which enables ease in tracking the defects for maintenance work to be carried out.
