Course Objective

This course covers key areas of using Digital Technologies in Manufacturing/Operations environment providing a foundation to Industrial Internet of Thing (IoT). Participants will acquire essential knowledge for remote monitoring and control of Manufacturing facilities, through experiential learning.

• Manufacturing of today
• Industrial Robots and Applications

Introduction to Internet of Things (IoT) Concepts:
This course introduces applications of IoT systems, in the area of monitoring and control. Participants will understand how different technologies, such as sensors, microcontrollers, cloud, data analytics, and mobile apps are applied in an IoT system. This experience lets them explore possible IoT applications enhancing existing system features or designing a new system.

Minimum Requirements

Basic computer skills are desirable, though not essential

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
