This course provides participants an understanding of the good practices of Building and Fire Safety Engineering in Estate Management. Participants will gain an insight of the role of Estate Management’s regulatory compliance as an asset and the impact of sound Estate Management practices on the operational, safety, financial and sustainability performance of buildings. Topics include Fire Protection System, Lift System and Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Systems.
This course aims to enhance participant’s knowledge in building and fire engineering that are essential for smart estate management. Participants can apply the knowledge to better equip themselves to support new initiatives in estate management. They will also be able to propose new ideas that will improve building and fire engineering aspect of estate management. Through collaborative learning, real life case studies, project work, participants will be able to provide solutions to real life scenarios.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Demonstrate ability to comply with regulatory requirements (Estate Management).
2. Apply industry guidelines to ensure good practices.
3. Discuss regulatory framework of building and fire engineering for Estate Management.
