Data analytics skills are much sought after in many industries especially in organisations that are custodians of huge amounts of data. These skills are essential for preparing, visualising, analysing, modelling and presenting data in ways that provide meaningful insights. This course will teach principles of data preparation, visualisation, statistical analysis, predictive modelling and decision making using the programming language R. Many professionals may only be familiar with basic forms of analysis using Microsoft Excel and may not be aware of more powerful data analytics tools which are made available for use by R.
This course will explore the strengths of the ‘R’ programming language, in numerical data preparation, analysis and modelling via case studies. Participants will be provided with a broad understanding of data analytic processes and the tools used. By the end of the course, participants will better appreciate analytical processes and use data tools to perform a broad spectrum of analytical operations.
