Course Objective

This course aims to train participants in python programming and apply it to data wrangling and machine learning. Coupled with skills in data visualisation & storytelling, participants are able to derive and communicate data insights that may result in decisions leading to higher operational efficiencies or transformational changes

Course Outline

By the end of the Course, participants will be able to:  

  1. Demonstrate the use of the Python programming language by developing basic Python programs.
  2. Develop programs for data wrangling using Python programming language.
  3. Describe the basics of machine learning.
  4. Apply techniques of supervised and unsupervised learning.
  5. Explain the principles of data visualisation.
  6. Apply data visualisation principles in the design and creation of dashboards.
  7. Compose a story to illustrate trends by using interactive dashboards.

Minimum Requirements

Basic English Proficiency.
Good understanding of computers and data.
