The course will provide hands-on practical that focuses on Industrial AMRs platform, which allows the participants to immediately transfer their skills for an Industrial AMRs deployment in their application.

Course Objective

The course provides participants with understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) and advanced Robot Operating System (ROS) platform where they will learn how to integrate the ROS platform into Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) deployment at industrial setup. Participants will learn various concepts of AMRs technologies such as mapping, localisation and navigation, including obstacle avoidance. They will be equipped with skills to integrate these technologies through the ROS platform.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Integrate various AMRs technology through ROS
• Apply technologies such as Mapping, Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance with ROS
• Deploy the ROS system with physical AMR robots

Minimum Requirements

Basic competency in Linux OS and C++ or Python Programming

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
