This Micro-Credential is a collaborative offering by Singapore Polytechnic, School of Business in partnership with the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP). This cutting-edge programme empowers participants with the skills and knowledge to leverage Automation technologies in the field of HR, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making. By completing this programme, they will also have the exclusive opportunity to apply for an IHRP Skills Badge, further validating their competency and professional growth.
This Micro-Credential Programme is a 5-week part-time course, with lessons conducted in a blended learning mode, including face-to-face lessons and assessments, as well as synchronised online lessons.
This course aims to equip participants with skills to easily create useful Robotic Process Automation (RPA) scripts to automate HR processes, without much coding or programming knowledge. They will be able to achieve this outcome by using an RPA software.
By the end of the Course, participants will be able to:
- Explain RPA and how it can help to automate HR processes
- Identify HR processes to be improved by the application of new and emerging technologies, as well as approaches such as RPA
- Develop RPA solutions for common HR processes such as generating performance appraisal letters, forms for approval, WhatsApp and email reminders
- Analyse potential opportunities to adopt RPA within the organisation
- Implement HR decisions and activities with RPA, considering the impact on business strategies
- Develop RPA scripts using participant’s selected HR processes to streamline routine tasks.
