This Micro-Credential in Applied Human Resource (HR) Technologies & Digitalisation is tailored for HR professionals keen to enhance their skill set and remain competitive in an ever-evolving industry. It equips them with the skills and knowledge to leverage cutting-edge HR technologies and digital solutions, transforming operations and strategic decision-making.
This Micro-Credential is a collaborative offering by Singapore Polytechnic, School of Business in partnership with the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP). This programme empowers participants with the skills and knowledge to leverage technologies in the field of HR, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making. By completing this programme, they will also have the exclusive opportunity to apply for an IHRP Skills Badge, further validating their competency and professional growth.
This is a 5-week part-time course with lessons conducted in a blended learning mode, including synchronised online lessons (in evenings), self-directed E-Learning, and face-to-face assessment.
The course is designed to provide participants with the working knowledge leading HR technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the various HR functions. Participants will be able to implement and manage Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), as well as apply new technologies.
By the end of the Course, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the latest technologies for adoption, including intelligent automation and virtualization, in relation to HR functions.
- Describe how to play a proactive role and collaborate with IT and see technology enhancements are aligned with strategic HR objectives
- Identify suitable technologies and the impact of adopting new HR technology within organisations
- Develop a plan to procure, maintain, and utilise HR Management systems
- Devise appropriate HR service delivery models to embrace emerging and changing technologies, facilitating HR's contributions to business value and efficacy
- Explain how to maintain data integrity and security
