This course enables Project Managers, Site Engineers and Site Supervisors to upskill and adapt to Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) knowledge and application to facilitate construction and site operations and processes. This course equips participants with sufficient basic and fundamental IDD and BIM knowledge to help align with the transformation of the built environment to the needs of the digital delivery in construction management and site supervision.

Course Objective

This course aims to provide fundamental knowledge of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) concepts, foundation and basic applications relating to project management and site supervision in construction within the Built Environment (BE) industry.

After this course, participants will be able to apply IDD principles and applications in their project management and site supervision tasks. They will be able to navigate within the BIM environment for use of the BIM 3-D models in Common Data Environment applications and platforms. This is for the purpose of facilitating daily project management and site supervision tasks such as spotting clash detection across disciplines, projecting and accessing construction sequencing for project progress or timeline management etc.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

1. Define concepts of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and its role in the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Industry Transformation Map (ITM) for project management and site supervision

2. Apply Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) knowledge and applications relating to project management and site supervision

3. Navigate in Building Information Modelling (BIM) interface environment relating to project management and site supervision
