Course Objective

This programme teaches the fundamental knowledge of typical LNG Bunkering operations, including related corporate governance and management systems, familiarity with operation of equipment and instrumentation, control and monitoring of bunkering operations, non-standard and emergency operations, as well as related safety aspects. Participants will acquire essential skills for assisting people, during their Support and Emergency duties in LNG Bunkering using trucks and Bunker Barge, from terminals to the ships. They will also apply them to cassette bunkering for ships, requiring LNG as fuel.

*Persons, already working in Bunker tankers, will be considered in favourable manner

Minimum Requirements

Preferably having the following qualifications:
  • Completed Basic Fire Fighting Course
  • Completed Basic Tanker Training or equivalent
  • Have aAt least 3 months of sea experience as Rating or above
  • Have Any other similar experience in- lieu of above
  • Have N-level with Mathematics, Science and English

*Persons, already working in Bunker tankers, will be considered in favourable manner

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
