Course Objective

This programme aims to develop participants with the competency required to build Cloud based infrastructures and Cloud Native solutions that enable emerging technology area such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT and Data Analytics to perform end to end digital transformation, from conception to delivery. Graduates from this programme will be able to:

  • architect and deploy secure and robust applications on Cloud technologies;
  • define a Cloud solution using architectural design principles based on customer requirements; and
  • offer implementation guidance to the organization throughout the life cycle of the project.

Course Outline

The course adopts a blended learning approach, with 70% of the program being self-paced e-learning and the remaining 30% being facilitated sessions held on campus or online. This allows for flexibility in learning while still providing opportunities for engagement with instructors and peers through regular check-in periods. The e-learning component includes digital lessons, lab exercises, videos, and knowledge checks. The facilitated sessions promote interactive experiences and collaboration among participants.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have a relevant Polytechnic Diploma/Degree in the Computing, IT or Engineering areas.

Applicants from other disciplines but with relevant working experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Certification / Accreditation


Upon completion of the modules in each semester, the participant will be awarded one Post-Diploma Certificates (PDC) respectively.

Upon successfully acquiring the two PDCs, the participant will be conferred a Specialist Diploma in Cloud Computing (Architecture) qualification from Singapore Polytechnic.

Suitable for

This course is specially designed for individuals who have some IT background such as some knowledge in computer networking and computer systems, and wish to start a career in Cloud Computing.

Application Procedure

1. For self-sponsored applicant, please click on the “Register” button to apply for the course. You will be directed to STEP portal to manage all your course activities. Please note that you will be prompted to sign in with Singpass/Student ID.
 
2. For company-sponsored applicant, please approach your company's Human Resource (HR) team to put in the application through the company portal using CorpPass.  You may only apply after receiving the registration link from your company's HR.
 
3. Your application does not guarantee acceptance into the course. Your acceptance into the course is dependent on meeting the course requirements and course vacancy.
 
4. Non‐Singaporeans must possess a valid Employment Pass / Work Permit / Dependant Pass throughout the course duration. You would need to bear the full risk of non-completion should your pass expire and subsequently lapse within the duration of the course.
 
5. You will be notified by email on the application outcome 6 weeks after the application’s closing date. 
 
6. PACE Academy course schedules, including course trainer, course fees and course availability are subject to change.

7. PACE Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course at short notice; & at its absolute discretion without assigning any reason for such cancellation/postponements. In the event that the applicant’s chosen course is cancelled prior to its commencement, PACE Academy will make a full refund of course fees already paid by the applicant.
