This Micro-Credential in Human Resource (HR) Innovation – Building Operational Excellence through Co-creation and Iteration in Design Thinking is a collaborative endeavour brought to you by Singapore Polytechnic, School of Business in partnership with the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP). This course equips HR professionals with the essential skills in collaborative human-centric solutioning in achieving operational excellence. Upon successful completion, participants can apply for an IHRP Skills Badge, underscoring their expertise and dedication to advancing the HR field.
This micro-credential is designed for HR professionals seeking to enhance their collaborative and problem-solving competencies – through ideation, prototyping and co-creating on an identified HR challenge in human-centric design. Whether you are a HR executive or manager, this program equips you with the skills necessary to enhance your problem-solving capabilities for strategic advantage.
This is a 5-week part-time course with lessons conducted in a blended learning mode, including in-class teaching and synchronised online lessons (in the evening), and face-to-face assessment.
This micro-credential is designed to equip participants with the working knowledge and skills on brainstorming and conceptualisation of ideas in Design Thinking. Participants will apply different ideation methodologies, then conceptualise and prototype to co-create user-centric HR-related solutions.
By the end of the Course, participants will be able to:
Ideate using different methods and engaging relevant teams.
Design innovative solution(s).
Refine viable products and/or services using an iterative testing process.
Present and communicate the design outcomes and process of solutioning.
Recommend enhancements to improve HR effectiveness.
