Course Objective

This course trains participants how to be adept in using a variety of Facilitation approaches to meet desired learning outcomes and learner needs.

This course aims to equip participants with skills and competencies to deliver learning products and services. A variety of learning delivery modes and practical methods to transfer knowledge, as well as skills in managing group dynamics are included in this programme.

Course Outline

Topics covered are:

1. Understanding Learners and Learning
2. Planning Learning Experiences and Resources
3. Facilitation Strategies
4. Communicating Feedback
5. Workplace Learning

Minimum Requirements

• Basic skills in coaching small groups
• Preferably an “A” level holder and above
• Currently working or volunteering with Self-Help Groups and working in Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWO)

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate

Suitable for

Adults currently working or volunteering part-time with Self-Help Groups, working in VWOs
