Synopsis

In this project, students explored an advanced oxidation process (AOP) of catalytic ozonation for the treatment of wastewater which contains recalcitrant organic compounds. Conventional AOP process of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and/or UV light oxidation is either costly or ineffective for its treatment.
