Synopsis

Advanced oxidation processes including the use of ozone, hydrogen peroxide and UV light has been widely adopted for the treatment of recalcitrant organic wastewater. However, some of these methods could be either ineffective or costly. In this project, students studied a new process using ultrasonication for wastewater treatment.
