Development of Digital Twin for Facility
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital technology used in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries. BIM technology is used to build Digital Twin projects in the AEC industry. The Digital Twin uses sensors to gather
information about the Physical Twin in the real world and then uses that information to create a digital replica of the object on the screen. The Digital Twin for a building facility is a working digital replica of each building’s facility
system and infrastructure processes (the Physical Twin) and serves as an intelligent interface to the Physical Twin for smart operations and the monitoring of various operational parameters and maintenance planning.
