The course provides participants with the knowledge in key legislative provisions, basic principles of facilities maintenance and services, as well as communications and administrative skills in the property management industry.

Course Objective

The course will provide technical, administrative and legislative knowledge for operational level management of strata-titled properties. It provides the participant with the opportunity to obtain an accreditation from Association of Strata Managers (ASM), recognised by the Building & Construction Authority (BCA), upon successful completion of the course.

Course Outline

The course will provide Legislative-Technical-Administrative knowledge for operational level management of strata-titled properties. It covers the application of Building Maintenance & Strata Management Act, relevant legislative requirements, understanding the requirements for building services and maintenance, communications and strata property office administration.

2. Building Services & Maintenance
3. Communication and Office Administration

Minimum Requirements

• GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ Level with credits in English &Mathematics or equivalent.
• Basic IT proficiency in use of MS Office software.

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
