When people can see a product in action, they are more likely to want to buy it. That is why there is a growing demand to incorporate live streaming into e-commerce business. This course provides hands-on activities to plan, organise and manage live stream on social media platforms. Participants will pick up live hosting skills from this course and discover ways to enhance live stream using various tools, equipment and software to increase engagement with customers. 

Course Objective

​​This course aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of e-commerce and live-streaming through authentic learning and practical experiences with industry partners. In this module, participants will learn about the e-commerce and social commerce landscapes, as well as the end-to-end ecosystem of e-commerce. Through hands-on experiences with industry partners, participants will then learn how to market their products using online visual merchandising techniques, as well as design consumer experiences and develop content strategies. They will also get the opportunity to work with industry partners to produce live-streaming content.

By the end of the Course, participants will be able to:

  2. Craft script for live e-commerce production by using an app
  3. Setup a live e-commerce production

Minimum Requirements

Participants must be computer literate and have basic knowledge in MS Office such as Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word

Certification / Accreditation

Certificate of Performance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
