This 2-day preparatory workshop consists of facilitated case study discussions and learning activities for professional development and preparation for the IHRP Certified Professional (IHRP-CP) Human Resource Paper Level 2 (HRL2) assessment. Participants can also further hone their capabilities in applying competencies to address situational judgement scenarios, HR faces.

Course Objective

This course prepares participants for understanding the three Human Resource (HR) competency areas covered in the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) Body of Competencies (BoC), namely HR Mindsets and Behaviours, HR Foundational Competencies and HR Functional Competencies. These areas, and inter-relatedness of the other various competencies, will enable HR professionals create value and deliver positive impact to the businesses, when holistically brought together. With these skills and knowledge, participants will be ready to take the IHRP Certified Professional (IHRP-CP) Human Resource Paper Level 2 (HRL2) assessment.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to: 
  1. Understand the IHRP BoC
  2. Display HR Mindsets and Behaviours that manifest in the way practitioners think and behave in approaching their work, dealing with people and other work-related situations
  3. Perform required Functional Competencies to successfully deliver their related roles
  4. Build Foundational Competencies underpinning Functional Competencies and serve as core enablers supporting functional activities

Minimum Requirements

At least Two (2) Years of relevant working experience in HR services, operations, or other related areas

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
