This course equips industry professionals in Built Environment (BE) to be prepared for the new Regulatory Approval Process for Building Works (RABW) in the upcoming online submission portal - Construction and Real Estate Network X (CORENET X) - to be introduced by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) by end-2023. This 1-day course will explain the concepts and framework of the new submission processes in the online portal, and the protocols that entail it for compliance in all fields across the disciplines of Architecture (Arch), Civil and Structural (C&S), and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumping (MEP) within Singapore’s BE Industry. After attending this course, participants, namely the consultants and the Building Information Modelling (BIM) operators, will be able to take on the new processes and protocols to comply in their authority submissions upon the implementation of the CORENET X by BCA in end-2023.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. List key changes to the existing regulatory approval processes under CORENET X
2. Explain the requirements for different stages of the new submission processes and framework in CORENET X
3. Execute the new submission protocols and requirements for different types of building works across the Built Environment disciplines
