Course Objective

This course prepares participants, with many Theorical lessons and hands-on practice of Emotional Intelligence competencies in effectively communicating with staff, colleagues, and customers.They include building and improving self-awareness, management and direction through the practice of Emotional Intelligence elements, as well as practicing infusion into frontline applications.Such skills are crucial for swiftly resolving workplace conflict and, ultimately, nurture healthy workplace relations in the long run. Furthermore, they can be applied to empathetically handle those experiencing stress and personal grief. Overall, participants can boost their Communication skills with staff/colleagues and create meaningful dialogues.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
  1. Apply Emotion Intelligence Competencies for different situations
  2. Apply competencies from Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence Framework
  3. Apply the Six Seconds Model- A process framework for making Emotional Intelligence practical
  4. Describe how learnt Psychology concepts are applicable, at the workplace
  5. Demonstrate basic counselling micro-skills in the Communication process, empowering relationships
